The proximity to all the local attractions made it easy to explore. Despite some drawbacks, there were clean essentials like the bathroom fixtures that worked reliably.
Walking into the lobby hit me with a musty smell, and the entryway carpet looked like it hadn’t met a vacuum since the hotel opened. The elevator carried an overwhelming curry odor that made my eyes water, while the hallways were littered with stains that felt downright questionable. In my room, the carpet was not just stained but torn, and I encountered a moldy shower that did a great job of making me feel dirtier after use. The noise from adjacent rooms combined with faulty appliances led to sleepless nights and frustration. I didn’t even feel like risking it with breakfast, fearing it might mirror the room’s issues.

Comfortable bed and accommodating staff, but noise from the highway was disruptive.

The room was clean and equipped with a fridge and microwave. Friendly staff made check-in smooth, which I appreciated. I enjoyed the breakfast. the coffee was tasty and the waffles were pretty good. Relaxing in the indoor heated pool was a nice bonus, though it could have been larger. One downside was the hallway temperature. it felt uncomfortably hot on the third floor. Also, the hot water was lukewarm in the morning, which was disappointing. I encountered a note under my door saying housekeeping wouldn’t service our room due to a do not disturb sign still being up at 9:30 AM. While I understand their policy, it felt a bit rigid. Overall, a nice stay but those issues could be fixed for a better experience.

This place was just a strong match for a short stint in Gettysburg with extraordinarily good value for money. The coffee was hot and tasty during breakfast, a nice perk to start the day. Just be ready for variable room conditions and check the hot water situation before settling in.

easy access to civil war landmarks and beautiful park views
I enjoyed my stay, especially the comfort of the large screen TV with numerous channels, and the excellent water pressure in the shower was a real treat after a long day of exploring. also, the central location made it super easy to visit the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center, which is just over 5 km away, and stroll through nearby parks which added a lovely touch to my city walks.

We had a great time staying here! The kids loved the flat-screen TV in the room, which was perfect for movie nights after our trips out. The location was also super convenient for visiting local attractions, making it easy for our family to explore Gettysburg together.
In my wife's opinion, we would have appreciated a more attentive housecleaning service. The rooms could use a little extra sparkle, especially for families with kids running around.

We had a great time during our group vacation! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed watching movies together on the flat-screen TV. The location was perfect for our trips to local attractions and the historical sites nearby, making it an awesome base for our adventures.
However, we experienced some noise from the nearby highway in the morning, which was somewhat disruptive. Be sure to choose a room away from the road for a better night's sleep.

A Unique Stay with Room for Improvement
The king room had a roll-in shower, perfect for accessibility. Though cleanliness fell short, the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. If possible, check in during cooler hours, as hallways can be warm. Breakfast could use more variety, but the waffles were delightful.

missingWrote a review on 03 Juncontemporary decoreffective cooling systempoor breakfast qualityinconvenient locationinsufficient swimming area
The hotel features contemporary decor, and the air conditioning worked impressively well. However, the breakfast variety was lacking, with stale muffins and pre-cooked eggs served the next day. The location, while close to downtown, wasn't walkable, requiring a short drive. The small pool felt more like a large hot tub than an inviting swimming area.
